	The Hon. George Baker, P.C. Senator George Baker is the former MP for the riding of Gander - Grand Falls (Newfoundland and Labrador). He was first elected to the House of Commons in 1974, and was re-elected at every subsequent federal election. Since March 26, 2002, he has served in the Senate of Canada, representing the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
	The Hon. George Furey, Q.C., B.A., B.A. (Ed.), M.Ed., LL.B. A distinguished educator and lawyer with deep roots in the community, Senator George Furey is one of the leading citizens of Newfoundland and Labrador. He was appointed to the Senate on August 11, 1999, by the Rt. Honourable Jean Chrétien.
	The Hon. William Rompkey, P.C., B.A., M.A., LL.D. (Hon.) Appointed to the Senate by the Rt. Honourable Jean Chrétien, Senator William Rompkey represents the province of Newfoundland, now known as Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Senatorial Division of North West River, Labrador. He has served in the Senate of Canada since September 22, 1995.
